After a few shots (in Part 1), I could feel that the bride and groom-to-be were starting to warm up to the camera.
While I did give a small pep talk to both Pearl and Kelvin before I started, it does take a bit to break the initial feeling of awkwardness. Especially considering I had a gargantuan lens pointed at them.
You could see it.
The unconcerned look into the camera's lens, almost as if they're looking into you.
The relaxed body postures.
The slight smirks.
The nonchalant smiles.
I loved how Pearl took the effort to pick out a small bunch of lavenders from her garden for the day. It didn't just serve as a prop for the day, it added a sense of occasion.
It made the day rather special.
I love this pic of Kelvin. So stylish yet so relaxed, no?
And Pearl's gorgeous in this shot. Out of a few other ones where she was looking into the camera, I simply had to pick this.
And the following two make some of my favourite shots from the day.
Big trees are so drama. <3
