To me, a big part about the Big Apple is the arts.
The galleries in New York are some of the best in the world and I remember quite a few moments when I felt so lucky to be seeing the pieces in front of me. Pieces that I used to just read about in books and see in Google Images. In New York, it's Everywhere.
I remember walking into a small gallery in SoHo and seeing Warhols and Lichtensteins for sale. It's so... accessible. And so pervasive.
