Melbourne, Weddings - The Story of Pearl and Kelvin (Pt. 4)

Part of the day's plan was to have a break during lunch. For obvious reasons - we needed to replenish. And also, from a photographer's point-of-view, the light at midday.

Since the Parliament House was in the itinerary, we had a little picnic in the beautiful Treasury Gardens which is just a short walk away.

Kelvin made a cold pasta dish (with pesto and avacado) as well as a pear and rocket salad. While Pearl made some strawberry cupcakes as our dessert. It's her practice run as she's going to make some for the wedding day's dinner. A photographer can't possibly ask for more! :)

As mentioned before in previous posts, I wanted to capture the couple in places which mean a lot to them in order to help tell their story better.

That was why I asked Kelvin about the significance of each location he had in mind. Most of them were where they met, their courtship days, etc.

When it came to the Parliament House, his answer was, "Cos it's popular. Hahahaha."

"Fair enough," I laughed with him. That said, it is an astonishingly beautiful building.

♥!
