New York, Street - Veil of Snow

Forecast: Snowstorm.

But seeing as it was my last few days in New York, I was determined to walk the Brooklyn Bridge.

Cold and wet with strong winds, I didn't bother taking my camera out much throughout the 30+ minute trek. But as I was walking along the shore, I HAD to get this shot.

The thick veil of snow 'flattened' everything else but added a sense of grandeur to the still discernible, magnificent Brooklyn Bridge. It almost plays out like a special effect or film grain applied after the photo was taken. But it was the snow, I swear. :)

This photo is my second entry into the Nikon "Wish we were there" assignment
